About Supernova Bags

Supernova Bags is a sister-owned business dedicated to designing tote bags. Founded by Nancy and Itzel, both sisters take pride in creating all their work from scratch to bring excellent quality and color.

What makes their shop unique is that all bags undergo a thorough screen printing process. Screen printing is the process of transferring a stenciled design onto a flat surface using a mesh screen, ink and a squeegee. Their method involves hand drawing their artwork first, then exposing it onto a fine mesh screen, and pushing ink through to create an imprint of the design on the bag’s fabric. This meticulous process is done by Nancy who has a background in art. Itzel, who has a background in design, handles all supplier research, web design content, photography, screen printing preparation, shipping details, and more behind-the-scenes tasks. Together, they carefully inspect, prep and nicely package each bag before it is shipped out to you. 

The dedication input towards Supernova Bags inspires the sisters to pursue expanding their shop in the hopes of adding additional bag sizes and neat creative accessories that would help out on your daily routine. Supernova Bags is an amazing outlet for the sisters as it allows for creative freedom and what’s best is that they get to share their work with you!
